You're Cordially Invited is an upcoming American comedy film written and directed by Nicholas Stoller for Amazon MGM Studios. It stars Will Ferrell, Reese Witherspoon, Geraldine Viswanathan and Meredith Hagner.
The film is scheduled to be released by Amazon Prime Video on January 30, 2025.
Synopsis
A bride (Viswanathan) and her father (Ferrell) discover their dream wedding venue has been double booked for another bride (Hagner) and her wedding-planner sister (Witherspoon), with hilarious consequences.[1]

Production
Nicholas Stoller has written the screenplay and will direct and produce. Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon will produce and star. Also producing are Jessica Elbaum, Gloria Sanchez, Conor Welch and Lauren Neustadter with executive producers Ashley Strumwasser, Alex Brown and Gloria Sanchez. Production companies are Stoller Global Solutions, Gloria Sanchez Productions, and Hello Sunshine. The project landed at Amazon Studios in July 2022.[2][3]
Casting
Ferell and Witherspoon were revealed to be attached to the project in June 2022.[4]
Filming
Principal photography began in Atlanta in May 2023.[5][6]
Release
You're Cordially Invited is scheduled to be released in the United States by Amazon Prime Video on January 30, 2025.[7]
