Unhelpful mispelling. The redirect was created as transliterated Cyrillic (and thus WP:FORRED). — the Man in Question (in question) 04:47, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep as a plausible misspelling per the previous discussion. Thryduulf (talk) 10:40, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
How is this a plausible misspelling? As one user commented in the previous discussion, "It is hard to imagine a person who doesn't know the spelling of the word 'Lady'"; and if someone was uncertain, ledi hardly seems like a plausible guess. — the Man in Question (in question) 08:21, 20 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unhelpful spacing and Pandora's Box. — the Man in Question (in question) 04:15, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Google shows that this is a spacing that is used, making it a plausible search term. Speaking as someone who also has a "Mc" surname, seeing it spaced is not unusual from those who are unfamiliar with English-language surname conventions but are used to other conventions with multiple surnames. Finally, WP:PANDORA is an essay that is incompatible with WP:OTHERSTUFF and that precedent is generally not a thing - whether this is a good or bad redirect has no impact on whether other redirects are good or bad. Thryduulf (talk) 11:13, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was keep. There seems to be agreement that this alternative spelling has enough usage for a keep. (non-admin closure) ComplexRational (talk) 13:39, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A spelling that would only be typed by a Spanish speaker, and yet a spelling that would not be used by a Spanish speaker, as it would be obviously incorrect per the pronunciation. (An umlauted ü in Spanish means it is pronounced, whereas the u in Guevara is not pronounced.) — the Man in Question (in question) 04:05, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I'm on the fence about this one, as there are lots and lots of google hits for this spelling, all referring to the same person, so it's not an implausible search term at all. However, nearly all the results are in a Spanish language context (particularly in Chilean sources it seems) so the nomination statement is clearly incorrect that a Spanish speaker would never use this spelling, but it does get a few English results so it's not exclusively a FORRED issue. Not mentioned in target (including possible alternate spellings such as Götz). According to this article, people by these names were killed in the crash, but if it's not mentioned in the article I don't think there's a reason to keep the redirects. signed, Rosguill talk 17:32, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This is an actor who doesn't have an article, and their only mention in Wikipedia is in the article of a different film. —Xezbeth (talk) 12:17, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete both. The former was a short article until 2011 when it was redirected as non-notable; while it may be better to undo the redirect and deal with it as an article via Prod or AfD that would probably be overly bureaucratic and in any case my !vote would be the same. The only metion on Wikipedia is in the cast list at Cult (film) but I don't see how a redirect would be useful. Google search favours a professor from Nagoya University with the same name so I think these would be better off as red links. PC78 (talk) 18:44, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Target is too broad. None of the 30 selected articles in the target portal are about a prison or prisons. The only one which comes even close is Portal:Crime/Selected article/30, which is about Prisoner's dilemma ... and that's about game theory in interrogation, not about prisons. The redirect target is far too broad: Portal:France contains almost nothing about Corsica.

This page was a still-born attempt to create a portal (here's the last non-redirected version). It was redirect in 2016 by User:DexDor. DexDor was right to identify it as a useless page, but it would have been better to just delete it than to redirect it. BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 09:37, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Iirc I'd previously taken such portals to MFD, but it'd turn into a discussion about whether (full) deletion or conversion to a redirect (e.g. to "preserve page history") was best and in at least one case the MFD closed as convert to redirect. "just delete" suggests that deleting (i.e. taking to MFD) is less work than redirecting which is probably incorrect. DexDor (talk) 12:00, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I fear you are probably right about the less work thing, DexDor. As we have seen at to many MFDs, them is a clique of editors who fetishises the preservation of almost any unread, abandoned junk portal. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:51, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Translates to "iron fist", which is not solely a name used for the series. Delete per WP:FORRED with the actual Iron Fist page. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 06:19, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to the more general Tekken, since that article lists 鉄拳 as the Japanese title. If there is anything else called 鉄拳, then a disambiguation page can be created. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 12:42, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
A disambiguation already exists for 鉄拳, it's Iron Fist. However, this is not Japanese Wikipedia. Iron Fist isn't particularly a Japanese phrase. FORRED applies here since the proper target would be Iron Fist, not Tekken.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 21:50, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Tekken per WP:FORRED since the subject originated from Japan, so this has affinity with the Japanese language by default. Steel1943 (talk) 19:48, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Neutral. A rejected pitch hardly amounts to a "film" but it's also hard to see what else this could refer to. PC78 (talk) 15:19, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. As a redirect, it gets people to where they are best served: A section about films that did not come to be, which is akin to redirects that direct readers to sections of film franchise articles for sequels which have yet to go into production. Steel1943 (talk) 19:46, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak keep per Steel1943. Speculative on our part to suggest the film would have this title, but not wildly so. --BDD (talk) 04:02, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep; if the searcher finds a redlink, he won't know if there were no film or if we just haven't written an article yet, but the bluelink to this section tells the reader that there was no film. This section provides encyclopedic information about the concept of a Zelda film, and I can't envision anywhere else that information about such a film would be relevant. "Russiagate" is not mentioned in target article List of conspiracy theories. Meanwhile Russiagate correctly redirects to Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections, so this redirect is redundant. — JFG talk 05:56, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as redundant with just Russiagate.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 05:59, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as redundant and confusing. There is "Russiagate", and then there is the above conspiracy theory about it. Russiagate refers to the "allegation of a Kremlin “attack” on the United States.", IOW the subject of our articles dealing with the 2016 Russian interference. Stephen Cohen, Trump, and many of Trump's supporters are skeptics of this allegation. To them, it is not a fact that Russia interfered in the election. They claim it's a false allegation made by American and many foreign intelligence agencies. They only believe Russian intelligence and Putin, IOW they believe the guilty parties. Editors who share that view often add the word "alleged" to our articles, and we have to remove that word. If RS ever document that the Russian denials are correct, IOW that they did not interfere in the election, then the (non-existent) Russiagate conspiracy theory article would be retitled. Since it doesn't exist, this redirect is useless and muddies the waters. -- BullRangifer (talk) 14:14, 5 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

There are two historic depots in Riverside, California, roughly one block apart: a former Union Pacific depot and a former Santa Fe depot. The redirect is the NRHP name for the former Union Pacific depot (NHRP ID 77000326). We don't have an article about it. The history of the former Santa Fe depot is discussed, inaccurately, at Riverside–Downtown station (see Talk:Riverside–Downtown station#Prior service for explanation). The current redirect target is invalid and inaccurate; the redirect should be deleted to encourage the creation of a standalone article on the former Union Pacific depot.
