The canceled dates section is all wrong formated ++++ it misses dates in CANADA Dbergeron1979 (talk) 18:27, 15 August 2023 (UTC)

In fact, there are some errors kept after last revision. Total number of dates is 79, not 78, given only five original dates were actually cancelled, and the info at the introduction text to page features the original January date as the last one instead of the now rescheduled April one. I know there was a lot to edit right after the rescheduled itinerary announcement but work is not finished yet, I hope some wiki verified account user gets my pointed errors and solve them while page keeps protected to feature only wiki-verified-account users' revisions. Thank you very much, Wikipedia users' community, for the opportunity for us to give our feedback, and also in advance of this page getting fully corrected as I cherish Madonna wikidata since more than a decade ago as a longtime fan of hers; by the way, I used to edit this very page a lot of times prior to the revision restriction, as well as several other Madonna-related wiki pages throughout the years. Happy that the announcement has been finally done, and may the Celebration Tour begin as planned as of now! Many greetings! 177.148.101.145 (talk) 20:07, 15 August 2023 (UTC)
Ok, I understand now that there will not be 6 shows to be held in Inglewood, but 5 (the original 2 dates at Kia Forum were turned into only one), so the actual number of concerts is 78, as stated in the page. Thank you Status for your job, sorry for the inconvenience, many greetings! 177.148.101.145 (talk) 20:52, 15 August 2023 (UTC)

The situation is quite odd. The title of the picture says it is "Frozen", but the Commons description says it is "Die Another Day". Since including the image doesn't improve the article much, I have removed it. Liu1126 (talk) 11:09, 31 October 2023 (UTC)

Can someone please remove Little Star in the full setlist and leave it as just a note as it was only performed once, acapella, for 10 seconds. 2601:1C0:717E:3D80:9577:4FA2:AC75:64C8 (talk) 22:46, 4 November 2023 (UTC)

Negative. It should remain per WP:STICKTOTHESOURCE, as it is to give an example of the set list from the first show of the tour with sources to cover on that. Hence the notice above the full setlist that it represents the first show of the tour and may not represent all of the shows on the tour. HorrorLover555 (talk) 01:20, 5 November 2023 (UTC)

Guest judges for "Vogue" segment | Formatting of article?

Wanted to add a list of the celebrities brought on stage for the "Vogue" segment but the edit was removed. From my perspective the cleanest would be to have it within the tour date table? The French version of this article seems to have added a bullet-point list in a separate segment, bt that does not seem particularly easy to read? Petoabys (talk) 14:45, 16 November 2023 (UTC)

I oppose having that in the tour date table as it is irrelevant to the content, as they already have the opening acts set in regardless. If it is sourced, and well-detailed, I think it could have its own section or sub-section. HorrorLover555 (talk) 18:08, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
While it would be nice to have those listed somewhere in the article, it's difficult to do it properly because I've only seen the guest names be mentioned on Twitter, which I believe wouldn't be accepted as a source for this, according to Wikipedia's policy. Revenue

Hello. I'd like to know where the hell they got the figures for the European leg of the tour, as the Billboard source barely mentions the revenue from the six concerts in London and the four dates in Paris. Where did they get the exact revenue and attendance figures for the other shows? I'm surprised no one has reversed these editions. Should we subscribe to the Billboard page to see the full article, or is this false information that has not been reversed? Vera (talk) 21:07, 12 December 2023 (UTC)

I also agree. I saw the numbers and I didn't know where they came from. @DearSeba: could you please provide evidence. Otherwise, we should remove it. --Apoxyomenus (talk) 21:12, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
It looks like the user (who hasn't logged in for four days) found the revenue and attendance for the European leg from Touring Data, which I think is not a reliable source (neither Touring Data nor any other X account). I think we should remove the numbers and wait for the official data from Billboard (or Pollstar). Vera (talk) 20:57, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
I logged and briefly noticed those numbers, then later forgot to ask/rmv them. The X account have been cited in some other articles in the past. We can definitely remove them. I also think the commercial performance should be trimmed, as early stage of news cycle already ceased and it could further compacted. --Apoxyomenus (talk) 21:05, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for the answer. I don't know which parts of the Commercial performance section should be trimmed since I don't edit here. But given that in Spanish Wikipedia someone copied/pasted the revenue and attendance of the European leg, I assumed that the problem was here. Vera (talk) 21:15, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
@Apoxyomenus:, @MadonnaFan:, one thing we can do is grey out the European section boxscore with a keyword like NRI and add the total for now at the bottom as well. —IB [ Poke ] 17:24, 17 March 2024 (UTC)

Finale/Final song needs to be updated

The final song aka finale of the show should be #34 "Bitch I'm Madonna" (incudes elements of "Give Me All Your Luvin'", "Celebration", and "Music"). There is no performance of "Celebration" and "Music" as songs per se after "Bitch I'm Madonna" as they are part of the mix. "Give Me All Your Luvin'" was forgotten in the setlist. 71.127.58.63 (talk) 20:53, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

Missing song + links missing + Final Demo 2

Act I is missing the song Celebration which plays after the Lucky Star intro and before the video montage starting with Material Girl.

There are links missing to the actual song pages:

  • Act II - Fever, Erotica, and Justify my love are all missing links
  • Act II - see The Confessions Tour page, this is not "with elements of Final Demo 2" but "with elements of You Thrill Me". It's been used during the Confessions Tour. See page for reference.

Setlist

I'm sorry I don't want to be disrespectful in any way but I find the setlist incorrect and the samples/extracts/excepts are wrong in so many parts. I suggest some changes, I hope you can approve them:

8 . "Live to Tell" (with elements of "In This Life")

On "Like a prayer" there's no "Let's Go Crazy" elements, it can be found in the "Blond Ambition" section and I'd delete "Erotica" and "Justify My Love" in it.

12. "Erotica" (with elements of "Justify My Love (12" Orbit Remix), "Final Demo 2" and "Papa Don't Preach")

13. "Justify My Love"/"Fever" (include elements of Gangsta")

14. "Hung Up" (includes elements of "Hung Up on Tokischa")

On the Ballroom section I'd add Deeper and Deeper but I don't remember the exact name of the remix.

18. "Human Nature"/"Crazy for You"

24. "La Isla Bonita"/"Don't Cry for Me Argentina"

25. "I Don't Search I Find" (Honey Dijon remix,intermission)

In "Like a Virgin" I'd add "Into The Groove" since it contains "You wanna dance?"

Sorry if I made mistakes with numbers or some letters I'm not an English speaker. Thank you. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 19:22, 26 March 2024 (UTC)

So why it say that Hung Up has a Gangsta sample which it doesn't but it can be found in Justify My Love? Thant's my point. Like I said I didn't want to be disrespectful but I think some changes are necessary. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 20:07, 26 March 2024 (UTC)

https://www.panorama.it/lifestyle/musica/madonna-londra-scaletta-celebration-tour here is saying what I've been saying about "Gangsta" sampled on Justify My Love. It's in italian but it's a reliable source I suppose.
https://www.musicradar.com/news/madonna-prince-like-a-prayer here it is "Let's Go Crazy" in Living For Love ergo in the Blond Ambition section not in Like a Prayer.
Also, you can hear them without a reliable sources that confirms it, but I understand the policy. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 15:48, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
In return, I will also share the sources that are already given for my reasoning of why WP:STICKTOTHESOURCE comes to mind.
- Savage, Mark (October 15, 2023). "Madonna's Celebration Tour reviewed: The Queen of pop brings out her crown jewels". BBC. Retrieved October 15, 2023.
- Lynch, Joe (October 14, 2023). "The 17 Best Moments From Madonna's Celebration Tour Opening Night in London". Billboard. Retrieved October 15, 2023.
- Vito, Jo (October 14, 2023). "Madonna kicks off 'The Celebration Tour' in London: Setlist + Photos". Consequence. Archived from the original on October 15, 2023. Retrieved November 2, 2023.
These are the sources provided even in the section, and it does clearly state above in text that it is used from the London, England show, and word-for-word, does not represent all concerts for the duration of the tour. These would be the reasons why I think it shouldn't change. Besides, the tour is almost over anyway. HorrorLover555 (talk) 19:25, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
I'm sorry but these articles are incorrect. Even if you watch the first show you'll see I'm right! I thought someone would have changed it but no one did so I wrote it. I don't knpw what else I could do to change the setlist. I agree with the numbers, but some parts are incorrect. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 19:47, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
And also, the articles I did share are from the first London show. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 19:49, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
At this point, I think it might be helpful to get some third opinions to see if a compromise can be worked out. HorrorLover555 (talk) 22:35, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
Response to third opinion request:
The setlist needs to reflect what has been reported by reliable sources. Personal observations are considered original research and that cannot be used to justify changes. I hope this helps. Thanks Nemov (talk) 03:24, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
I agree. But some reliable sources say I'm right. 91.254.5.170 (talk) 18:23, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
IP, the point of this discussion is to come to a compromise that all editors can be happy with, it's not about who is right and who is wrong. HorrorLover555 (talk) 17:11, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
