In 1948, after his father's death from bladder cancer, Savalas married his college sweetheart, Katherine Nicolaides.

Does this imply, that his father was against the marriage? Otherwise this seems like a weird connection of unrelated circumstances and would be probably better separated. But even, if it's the intended connection, it would be better to clarrify, like with: "In 1948, after his father's death (who was opposing his son's fiancée) from bladder cancer, Savalas married his college sweetheart, Katherine Nicolaides. 2001:4BB8:1D2:3231:FD37:28D0:C668:6180 (talk) 14:20, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
