Exactly, it's a Wikipedia convention! We don't need to follow "reliable sources" for disambiguation purposes, since disambiguation only relates to Wikipedia. In any case, the source you cite does not refer to him as "Henry Brown (1823–1906)"! -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:18, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
