This is incorrect. The Cincinnati Conservatory of Music has not existed for nearly 70 years.
The Cincinnati Conservatory of Music was a music school that existed from 1867-1955. In 1955, the Conservatory merged with another Cincinnati-based music school (the College of Music of Cincinnati) to form a new school. In 1962, that new school was incorporated into the University of Cincinnati, forming yet another new college: the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. These are all separate organizations, though. The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music is a state school, whereas the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and College of Music of Cincinnati were not state schools.
